Hello everybody! Did anyone have the opportunity to develop a SECAP in a municipality that also is developing a SUMP? Did you know that both plans can be harmonized each other’s and that a lot of synergies among them, from both technical and resources point of views, can be exploited? If you are interested in learning more about the harmonization of SECAPs and SUMPs please take a look to the SIMPLA H2020 project (www.simpla-project.eu) and to its Guidelines for Harmonization! Also, take look to the Case Study of Monzón, a municipality located in Spain which has developed harmonized SECAP and SUMP from zero. It has been selected as best practice by Covenant of Mayors and it has been included in the Eurocities' Guidelines For Developing and Implementing a Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (Second Edition).
