For three years in a row, Viken County Council has created and updated its free and publicly available Climate Dashboard for all 356 Norwegian municipalities (Kommune) and 11 Counties (Fylkeskommune). The Dashboard visualizes statistics and indicators that are collected from various official sources. In addition to helping municipalities with data collection, the dashboard provides comparison pages which may inspire the interested actors in setting creative climate strategies and measures. Over these three years the dashboard has been used in generating/updating SECAPs by many, at both local and regional levels.
